Nvidia held their GAME 24 Celebration of PC Gaming on September 18th. Several events around the globe took place,
Los Angeles, London, Shanghai to name a few.
There were also local satellite events a different locations, and the
entire event was broadcast via a live stream on Twitch.
A few of us at EVGA were fortunate to attend the Los Angeles area event which took place in Hanger 8 in Santa Monica. The event began with the check-in line and the reception area where you could listen to the DJ's music, sample the various offerings of food and beverages, and mingle with the other attendees.
At around 6:00PM the doors to Hanger 8 were open to reveal a
stage, giant presentations screen and seating those wishing to sit. Jen-Hsun Huang, NVIDIA's President and CEO
appeared and the excitement began. He
introduced Maxewell, talked about how its 2 X's the performance of the 700
series GPU, introduced some really cool new features and projects they have been working on:
Dynamic Super Resolution,
Multi-Frame Sampled Anti-Aliasing,
Voxel Global Illumination
There were some amazing demonstrations of all
these features. Also shows how the NVIDIA Engineers debunked the conspiracy
theories of the lunar landing pictures, and gave us all a lot to look forward
to with the new Maxwell GPUs.
To add to the event, the Hanger 8 doors were fully open to
reveal an amazing set up of Shield tables, 4K Surround running two GTX 980s, a
slew of gaming setup with different games, and my personal favorite, 4 stations
featuring the Oculus Rift and 2 playable demos.
If you haven't experienced the Oculus Rift, I would highly recommend it,
it is an amazing experience.
The rest of the evening was filled with great music, dance battles, plenty of gaming opportunities,
raffles and celebrities like
EVGAs own KINGPIN , Elric from Tech of Tomorrow, the man himself Jen-Hsun
Huang. We would to take this opportunity
to thank NVIDIA for their hospitality, and for an amazing event, we all had a great time!
The EVGA Hadron mini ITX case is an impressively small
and easy to handle case. It comes with a built-in 500W gold rated power supply,
3 year warranty, and enough space to slide in one power-packed NVIDIA Titan
GPU. To make this case even better, the Hadron comes in two types: the Air and
the Hydro, so you have the option to liquid cool your mini ITX rig if you want
it or keep it air cooled. Although the Hadron is EVGA’s first case, it comes
into the game as a formidable opponent in the current market with several bonuses
listed earlier that other competitors may not have. If you haven’t checked out
reviews already, be sure to do so when you can. The sheer size and capability of
this case might inspire you to want to build a mini ITX rig, or at least
show you what’s new on the market! This case allows you to cut down on space,
thus granting you mobility while still allowing you to keep parts that pack a
Thinking about building your own mini ITX rig or have you bought the Hadron and

video below and be sure to share with your friends! If you’ve already built
this rig, however, show us what you got by sharing your pictures with us on our
