Paragon Early Access Now Live!

Paragon Early Access officially launched today and the "Battle for Agora" has begun! The new third-person MOBA powered by the Unreal Engine getting a lot of attention due to its gameplay and graphics.

So, you've heard the hype and thinking how can I get in on the early access? Great question!  In order to get into the Early Access season, all you have to do is purchase one of 3 founders packs found here! The 3 tiers are priced as follows:  The base Founder Pack: $19.99, Challenger Founder's Pack $59.99, and Master Founder's Pack $99.99.  Each tear comes with master challenges, boosts, and the top two tiers come with a founders pack for a friend!

I've been lucky to be able to play Paragon for the past week and I can definitely say that all the hype is spot on.  I am not a big MOBA fan, mainly due to the top down camera angle, but Paragon brings the fun of a third-person shooter to the MOBA genre.  This for me makes all the difference and much more exciting. That along with some cool characters and art style of the game, makes it a contender in the MOBA genre.

If you want to check out some gameplay, be sure to tune into our EVGA Twitch channel where we will be streaming it.  If you want to join in on the action yourself, then be sure to head over to the Epic Games site and purchase a founder pack to get in on the early access.  Let us know what your though are on Paragon and if you plan on joining in the early access, down in the comment section below!

Sword Art Online: The Beginning Project Screen Shots

A few weeks ago we reported on a new project from the creators of Sword Art Online and IBM, a joint project featuring VR.  The project a VRMMO officially went into Alpha testing for 200 lucky individuals who signed up and were chosen to participate in Tokyo.

The Alpha test phase officially starred on March 18th, Japan Time and will run until March 20th. Below are a few screen shots that were posted to the Sword Art Online Facebook page.

If your are a fan of SAO then you will definitely appreciate the screen shots as much as I do.  Getting to the point where we can actually have a full scale VRMMO is exciting.  The image of the VR headset above looks really interesting as well, unsure of what actual headset is being used.  I does look like it could be an early Rift dev kit.  For information on the Sword Art Online:  The Beginning Project make sure to check out their official site.  Let us know what you think of the images they have provided, in the comment section below.
