About few months ago, we learned that popular video game designer; Hideo Kojima had started his own game studio named Kojima Productions. With his press release announcing the big news and his new website, a lot of fans were thrilled to hear this.
I went to his website to check out the new logo everyone was talking about via social media and found a link to the store. Wondering what would be there I click on it and saw the Kojima Productions Official Goods set and the following image:
Intrigued by the news myself and his announcement, I signed up to be notified of when the pre-orders began. I believe it was a month later when I was notified and placed my order.
Today March 2nd, I received a loud know on my door a bit before noon. It was the mail man wanting a signature for a box. I signed and went inside taking a look at the label. First thing I noticed was the Japan postage. I wondered what the heck it was, then I read the contents label, and remembered that I had ordered the Official Goods set from Kojima Productions. I was excited.
So I took some time today to do a visual unboxing of the contents of the official goods set. I have to say that right off the bat, packaging is awesome. So much detail went into each and every part of the packaging from the outer box to the individual pieces.
Once you open the box, you find the Kojima Productions mission statement which can be found by scrolling down the official website.
Next up are the two pins in black and white securely seated, and below that the official tumbler.
Took the wrapping off the Tumbler and it's quite a heavy metal piece which should last a long time.
The next layer revealed the T-shirt in its own individual packaging, and below that a set of stickers in different sizes. T-Shirt sizes were limited to S, M. L and XL. No bigger sizes were available.
Well just a sneak peek at the Kojima Productions Official Goods set which you can purchase here!. There are great things brewing in the Kojima Productions camp and we can wait to check out the awesome new games and projects in the future! Hope you all enjoyed the unboxing, let us know what you think in the comment section below!
