Battlerite - Not Just Another MOBA

Every once in a while we get a game that does things "rite". It seems like this game blew up overnight and it was not due to some gimmick or an elaborate marketing scheme. This game is getting popular because of its ease of access, smooth gameplay and it is not trying to invade an over-saturated market. Before we start with this article, I would like to point out that this game is NOT a MOBA, it may have some mechanics derived from such games but it is not comparable. Battlerite has taken may great features and gameplay styles from other titles and combined them to create something fresh. This game is a action-fueled, arena brawler that aims to be a competitive at its core.

If you are familiar with a game call Bloodline Champions then you will get the basic concept of this game. If you have never heard of that game it is okay, what Battlerite emphasizes is a competitive arena experience. The combat style is similar to that of League of Legends and Dota 2, a top-down shooter with cooldown abilities. The difference here is that there will be no time-consuming grinding involved, allowing you to jump right into the action. You will compete in either 2v2 or 3v3 matches that require precision, teamwork and skill. Users with World of Warcraft arena experience will pick up this game easily as it is the same concept. This game is quickly picking up with the community and there are many small tournaments in the making.
